Let’s be honest. The trumpet is not an easy instrument to master. Some days it feels like riding a bike (if you can ride a bike). Other days it feels like riding a bike if you’ve never ridden one before and the gears are broken and also the tires are made out of cheddar cheese. Over my 31 years of playing, I can tell you that some this is true to some extent at any level of proficiency.
