I studied trumpet at the Royal College of Music and graduated with First Class Honours. I also studied at the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna and have a Master of Arts degree from the Royal Academy of Music, supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.

I’m a member of the Old Dirty Brasstards, a 10-piece brass group performing regularly in London and at major festivals across the UK.

As a session player, I have performed with Harry Styles, Bastille, Tom Jones, Robin Gibb, Rob Brydon, Ruth Jones, Alfie Boe, Michael Ball, Michael Bublé, The Divine Comedy, Harry Connick Jr, Public Service Broadcasting, The Rock Orchestra, Bear’s Den, and The Hoosiers.

As a soloist I have performed in the West Cork Chamber Music Festival with the Vanbrugh Quartet and Concerto Copenhagen, and toured Europe with the European Union Baroque Orchestra.

My orchestral experience includes performing with the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, The Philharmonia, London Contemporary Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and The Sixteen.

I have recorded for film, television, and video game soundtracks, including Vice, Artemis Fowl, The Matrix Resurrections, The Last Letter from Your Lover, Death On The Nile, Young Woman And The Sea, Beau Is Afraid, All The Light We Cannot See, Troy: Fall of a City, and Spiderman (PS4).

As a theatre pit trumpet player, I have been part of productions such as Aladdin (Prince Edward), Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (Apollo), Evita (Regent’s Park), Les Misérables (Sondheim), Matilda (Cambridge), Motown (Shaftesbury), Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s), Follies (National); Funny Girl (Savoy), Assassins (Menier Chocolate Factory), Bugsy Malone (Lyric Hammersmith), On The Town (Regent’s Park), The Secret Life Of Bees (Almeida), Crazy For You (Chichester), My Neighbour Totoro (Barbican), Elf (Dominion), Saint George and the Dragon (National), Rob Brydon: A Night of Songs and Laughter (UK, Australia & New Zealand) and Sunset Boulevard (Savoy)

In 2023 I made my acting debut as Speaker Of The House/Musician and various other roles in When Winston Went To War With The Wireless at the Donmar Warehouse.

I co-host the podcast Three In A Bar with cellist Verity Simmons, where we interview different musical guests in each episode. We have released over 100 episodes.

I endorse Bach trumpets as an artist for Conn-Selmer.
